Production Associate-Screen Printing

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning and reclaiming screens.
• Coating and burning screens.
• Taping off edges of the screens ready for print.
• Assist with set up and break down of screens on press.
• Laying out garments for jobs approved for production
• Laying out and boxing completed garments for delivery or pick up.
• Weekly trash removal and clean-up of production area
• Troubleshooting problems as they arise.
• Perform quality control checks every 75 garments
• Clean and perform QC checks on flood bars and squeegees.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous work experience in industry (1 year min).
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Eager and willing to learn.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work with ink and chemicals every day.
• Ability to take initiative.
• Ability to work alone for long shifts.
• Ability to work nights if required.
• Reliable transportation and be on time.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be able to work well with others.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday (8 AM-5 PM) days
• Saturday half days

• Hour unpaid lunch
• Possible overtime
• Major Holidays off
